Workouts: 6/8-6/11

Monday:

yoga @ home

Tuesday:

@ the gym:  2000 meter row followed by upper body/core lifting
700 yd swim-15:15-minimal rest breaks!

Wednesday:

ended up as a rest day, but not without some heavy lifting:  I rearranged our apartment dining room, moved all the furniture and vacuumed, and rearranged some things in the second bedroom.

Thursday:

I had some gastrointestinal bug that prevented me from leaving the house, I’ll spare you the details.

So not such a great week in training, but the weekend will make up for that.  Headed to northern Virginia for some good cycling on the C&O Canal trail and the W&OD trail, as well as some swimming and hiking.  I’m undecided about doing the race on Saturday evening because I don’t feel ready after a week of no running, but we’ll see.
