With training cycle for Rock n Roll DC half marathon officially starting today, my off-season has kind of come to a close (still not biking/triathlon training, mainly focusing on running, strength and swim technique). Here’s how week two went down:
I did lots of yoga and rode my husband’s fat bike. Yep, that’s all my body felt like doing so that’s what I did.
Nutrition was okay. I increased my fruit and veggie intake but I didn’t cut back on cookies and candies and all things holiday party, so my stomach still feels wonky. ‘Tis the season.
Well, the hard work begins today and I’m so ready for it! Be sure to come back next week to see how my first week of half marathon training went!
